The Goddess Triangle

The re-emergence of the Goddess greatly inspired the two-year creation of the Goddess Triangle, a work that celebrates the unique ability of women to bring forth life and the spiritual forces that are at play when such a step is taken.
The piece is based on the story of four women and their personal journey into motherhood. These stories speak to us of creation from pure energy, the joy of carrying life, and the strength, dignity and selflessness needed to become a perfect vessel for the new.
These women are the modern-day-Goddesses, and the Goddess Triangle explores the similarities that they share with ancient goddess archetypes.
The Earth goddesses depicted in the outer panels represent wisdom, grace, life-force and the powers of psychic knowledge.
This is an altar to the female principle and a reminder of a time when it was celebrated as miraculous.
